Alright, thats Villa's goalie above. Gerrard curled the free-kick into the net. Impressive? i would say that is ultra-terrific:) Went paradiz watched quite a few of the epl matches ytd, lost all bets yesterday. I think it was okay. Was quite frustrated cuz my predictions were almost there. Nevertheless, we still have 3matches tonight:)

My predictions: () refers to actual score
  • Aston Villa 0-2 Liverpool (1-2)
  • Everton 2-0 Wigan (2-1)
  • Bolton 1-2 Newcastle (1-3)
  • West Ham 1-2 Manchester City (0-2)
  • Derby 0-1 Portsmouth (2-2)
  • Middlesbrough 0-2 Blackburn (1-2)
  • Sunderland 1-2 Tottenham (1-0)

As you can see, only 2 matches were slightly off. But then that reminds me that for next season i have to buy upset for the 1st match to be played. My buddy, kengkum was sibei suay. Cuz got live betting up to 80mins. So at 79mins, he placed 50bucks for the match to end in a draw. Then suay-suay Michael Chopra scored in the last-min of the injury time to give the CATS an emphatic win over the spurs. So true is the phrase football is 90mins. Hence $35 is gone but its okay cuz the s-league match alr compensated for this, so i'm okay. We will see how the top3 gunners in the league do tonight.

For your information, i bought all 3 to win 2-1 respectively. So all the best to the lousiest tipster on blogspot. hahaha. My reason is simple. All big teams tend to struggle in the 1st match against under-performed teams or newly-promoted teams. Oh btw, 2 of the 3 newly-promoted teams have not lost yet. Chelsea has its own defensive problems to worry about. I'm sure Birmingham is able to score a goal under Steve Bruce's coaching. But oh well, even if chelsea was to concede a goal, i'm sure they can pull back 1, or edged out an win. Isn't that been always the case? So 2-1 is my choice (: Many people have loved fulham since the last season. They are still the team helping Singapore Pools to lose money. A point to note nevertheless, Fulham can still create the unexpected. So just watched out for this team. Therfore, i'm sure they will try their best to deny Arsenal a clean sheet. Given Van PErsie's superb performance in the pre-season frendlies, i'm sure he will be the saviour for Arsenal tonight. Draw-Home is a good bargain for this match. So 2-1 is my choice. Look at Reading and Manutd. For the past meetings, Reading obviously has not read into Ferguson's mind. So i'm expecting Reading to under-read again. And if you have noticed last season for the matches involving Reading, it has always been high-scoring game. Well, i'm not too sure about this 1 though, since Steve Sidwell has left for chelsea, and playmaker Lita is injured. So 3 goals will be a wise choice for the 2 teams tonight. For that i believe Man Utd will win 2-1.

Alright, i will be back with more analysis for the next match Tottenham v Everton on Monday:)

So thats the bit for football fanatics. Now, must move on to blogging about myself. Today just came back from Sengkang, KK's house. Anyway, the journey back was long. I managed to utilise all 4 different trains. Took Lrt from Fernvale to Sengkang, then NEL from Sengkang to Outram PArk, then Green-line from Outram park to JUrong East, then Jurong East to Bukit Batok. So the fare is $2.41. Its like travelling the whole width of singapore laa. Anyway, i wan to say that KK is actually a super-nice guy. So for my dear squadmates reading my blog, i would like to share this with you. I think its the 1st time i eva talk to him for so much since the day we are in the same squad. Ok, he may not have the brains or looks, but the fact that his character is good & strong make me see wonders in him. He really take care of me laa, like to the extent of treating me supper at bugis and buying me water during the soccer match at paradiz. What is even more impressive is that i've learnt that he is super independant. Cuz through the conversations, i realised that he really know how to manage his income and expenditure and how he has signed up so many policies with Prudential for his future. And he is taking care of his transport(i refer to his bike) himself. He kept all the records of expenditure and savings in a book, that was what i think i should do for myself. I rarely see people like him planning so much for the future as well as managing one's income so expertly like him. Ok we did try our best to get xtra pay through "you know" other means. And i just learnt that he has quite a few tasks. Shan't say here cuz its quite sensitive while in NS. He told me he started working in sec2 in macdonald. I really admire hard-working people. People that really earn and spend their own money. I despise people that has rich relatives/parents that always give in to them on what they want. This really pisses me off as in why the world is so unfair.

Then you all will be complaining why i'm here acting godly when my parents are also rich. For today's entry maybe i will share more with you about myself. All the handphones/bills are never been bought/paid by my parents before JC period since young. My 1st phone was an Nokia 8310 given to me by my eldest sis. Subsequently she paid for my bills and also gave me her old phones. But to me its new phone. So i'm not that kind who is really into gadgets. A phone to me only serves to sms and call. If you have ever think my parents have ever bot me a phone in my entire 19years of life, you are damn wrong. They have never bought me anything expensive before. ONli playstation during my p-sch days cuz i get top in level for maths for 3 continuous years i believe. Other than that, if i ask for any technological tools like Ipod, xbox, gameboy, Hi-Fi set, new comp, they will NEVER agree. All the funs like ipod, nintendo DS are from my own savings. My parents have never brought me overseas before other than malaysia. They REFUSE to spend money on us and their excuse is their they cant put down their jobs. All these while you all been saying been to here and there, i'm sure none of the trips you have ever used your own savings. Only people like my Twin shuyu whom i believed to done otherwise is some1 whom i respect. So right now i'm entirely looking forward to the JApan trip with yuliang and shuyu after my ORD. And i believe i have to fork out my NS pay for this hefty sum. There is no way my dad going to sponsor me my holidays. So do you think i'm still that sort of rich brat like you all? Nah, i may have rich parents but i'm not rich. I have to learnt the hard-way to manage my finance wisely. Why would i bother wasting my time after work everyday for tuitions? I can just go home, have a good rest and watch Felicia Chin in her 9pm show right? Why do i keep looking for more lobangs in newspaper/net whenever i get the chance to rest? Why do you think i'm so money-minded and selfish when i refuse to treat you all for lunch/dnr? Sometimes in lives, we have to learn the hardway. i'm glad my parents are well-to-do, that means i do not have extra burden as the only son. But i do have extra burden, thinking of how to finance my uni expenses in 2 years time. Maybe that explains why i'm so money-minded nowadays. Ok jas, here's your answer. I'm scared. Afraid to be a failure. I just dun want to be a useless guy. Honestly, i believe that a guy without money/savings is as gooD as a goner.

After such vivid explanations above, i have illustrated a completely new image to you. But that doesn't mean i really save to that extent of neglecting myself. Like what jasmine had said, we should spend what we should, and save what we should. I still spend alot on food and movies outside on weekends. So there's no "no-life" blogger here:) Just a reminder to myself. My target for savings in my own Bank is 10k by the end of this year. and 25k before i ORD. This is my own goals. You don't have to give any comments.

So yesterday i also did sign up PRu-Save with KK and his mentor. There's 2 reasons why i want to sign up, though it means i'm not going to see the money until the plan matures. 1) I'm saving for the future till 55 years. Same as the time when i can take out my CPF. 2) I want to help KK earn. Honestly being in the same boats in which we must earn ourselves, it makes me feel like helping him. Maybe your definition of true friends does not encompass this, but i think he deserves my help. If you have known me better, i treat my friends better than myself i think. This is the reason, but i'm sorry to the female counterpart in prudential who approached me 4 mths earlier, why i choose my friend to help. Maybe its silly, but i think that being true to friends is what we should inculcate. Anyway the sum guaranteed is around 30k with interest 5.2%, so i should say its not bad:) At least i know that maybe next time when i'm old and lonely(no girl wants me), i still can survive myself. I really wonder how many people at my age is doing so much for his future without the aid from parents. It just boils down to me that if one learns to manage financially well, its alr 1 step towards success.

Its feels good to start planning now. At least if my parents ditched me after uni, i still can be smiling happily.

Btw, after knowing my reluctance to spend money, and you did receive something valuable from me, you should noe how much i treasure you. I may not be the right person, but i swear i did put in efforts. Oh well, get this into your head, i'm financially stable, neither rich nor poor.

I`VE MARKED IT:D
