Today is the 1st day of my 2days long workshop @ tekka mall. i rather i'm attending "handling difficult women" than "handling difficult people" cuz women are the more complicated gender.

The course contents is nt that bad, it eekes out a discussion on "what make people angry/hostile" and what are the type of difficult customers etc. qt interesting cuz in life there's bound to have alot of difficult people we will encounter. then theres this question about why these ppl have to be difficult.

4 reasons :-
  • they want what they want
  • they want help
  • they want choices
  • they want to be acknowledged

So the discussion went on and we were talking abt nt falling into the traps of difficult people. so here comes the choice of words. For example, when u encounter them, do not use words like "I" or "we", this shows you're pretty defensive about urself, and thats nt good. A pity i fall into this category. When we start using words like "they" or "you", it means you're counter-attacking. Both methods are wrong cuz they mite lead to a heated argument and embarrassment which we do no act want. so the best way to avoid this trap is to twist the situation into a non-directional way. In gist, do not pin-point to anyl. Once difficult people are caught by surprise, and ur able to tackle ur way past directly, they wun be difficult anymore! :)

And by then we have a lil food 4 thoughts exercise. The speaker made us write down what makes us angry. ok so im suppose to pen down what actually makes me angry. Here are what i act write:-

  1. prolonged nagging
  2. excuses given by gals
  3. hypocritism
  4. inconsiderate ppl
  5. betrayal

Haha, the first 2 are what really piss me off sia. i shall end here now, tml is the 2nd day of the course, will update more ok.
