In my PHQ command post now.. and here i was blogging. I dun really know what to do anymore, so i figure blogging can pass time. Days are a bore to me recently, been doing the same thing over n over again. Been hearing funny stories, seeing incredible incident reports from member of public. I should call this routine an experience. Its not that often i'm here, beside so many big gunners and Minister of home affair talking about 1 common goal. Things have turn slightly better for the future as now i do not need to work everyday le. The schedule now is work 2 days rest 1 day. So tomorrow monday is my rest day. Rest day doesn't mean i stay at home for free, it just means i do not have to do this deployment for a day. I still hafta report to work tml, so at least i can wake up 1 hour later.

I really wonder how long this operations is going to last. So now i'm planning all my rest days.
hmmm.. lets see..

Monday (3rd March) .. going back tml so that i can go gym :)
Thursday (6th March).. taking leave so that i can have my beauty sleep @ home
Sunday (9th March).. play badminton and maybe go SMU open hse
Wednesday (12th March).. going to work so that i can gym.
Saturday (15th March).. and so on if this operation really drags more than a mth or so... its NUS open hse!

I have been contemplating what if i cant get my double degree in engine n econs @ NTU, then which sole faculty should i go.

For NUS, i will maybe try to appeal to biz.
For NTU, i am thinking either go maritime studies(under civil & environmental engine) or study econs.
I'm still exploring a 3rd option though, sth like mechanical engineering.
But most likely i will end up in NTU, have made up my mind that i should go NTU.

I really do not know what to type now. so i reckon i shall be random. i don't really have a very good impression of the nsi in the headquarters. Maybe i'm childish in my thinkings or wat, but i just think that sometimes people can really be super bossy. So normally people just love to play by ranks. Why can't they just go by the simple rule of compassion, sincerity & politeness? You're asking a favour from us juniors to do work for you, so pls take note of the fact that we are actually helping you. Please at least have the basic manners to ask respectfully even though we are not as big-shot as you. I really dno what OCT course had taught them, but certainly they must have been brain-washed by the fact that they are the elites. Singing all those propaganda songs that are in tune with they are the best, c'mon laa, You're not the best so stop dreaming n wake up to reality. Doesn't the chinese phrasing ever rang thru ur head reminding you braggarts that clever will be defeated by your own cleverness?

I had a chat with my dad's friend's wife yesterday. cuz basically ytd nite, for apparently-no-reason, my dad invited alot of people to eat buffet-styled dinner at home. So i was home late becuz i had deployment as usual. So while i was eating with my sister and her bf, the auntie came over and she say she wna talk to me. She keeps telling me that i "身在福中不知福" so i was trying to reason out to her that its not the case where she has described. But then my sis's bf was on her side, saying i was very fortunate. Wah lao, no1 will ever believe that i actually do not mind staying in HDB flat. Its really true ok, i really had no qualms about a smaller space because eventually as long as you work hard, it will still take you to where you want to be. Maybe why they love to emphasize about me being fortunate is because i do not have to worry the lack of capital for any stuff needed to persue our education. Haiz, sometimes once perceptions are formed, its super hard to change people's mentality.

Guess what, while i was typing the previous paragraph, i inevitably doze off, and unluckily let an officer catch me closing my eye.

I must be that damn tired. Cuz i really feel like sleeping soon. 5 more hours to go. my life is ticking away mercilessly at the expense of my youth.
