Monday night was the 1st night i took MRT home since 16th june 08 a.k.a isolation plan starts. I prefer to take bus home mainly because i can get to save alot on transport fees that do form a streneous strain on my allowance. Though its still consider bus concession, but the hefty $61 is really expensive. Compared to previous student's concession, NS's concession makes a BIG difference. Maybe its due to considerations of adult fees. Ok back to topic, so i took train from novena. I think around after bishan stop, there was this male adult who collapsed on the ground panting and struggling in difficulty. So is this kind of illness called stroke or fit? Worse still, blood was coming out from his mouth. At first, i wasn;t quite aware of the commotion because i was blasting music from my Ipod. Then all the commuters start looking back and thus i discovered something is amiss. Was thinking in mind maybe there is an affray behind between 2 persons. However, to my horror, there was a looking fit-and-able guy down in excruciating pain. Luckily there are three kind adults who assisted him by holding his mouth and supporting him. Uncertain on the descriptions but then things happened in a whiz, hence the next moment i recall was that 1 of the commuters was speaking loudly into the "emergency hole" where you can communicate to the train captain. So at AMK station, those 3 samaritans lifted him out of the train to the platform where a SMRT lady officer was asking via walkie-talkie to the control station to call 995.

The main reason why i blogged about this incident was that i actually felt guilty because as a policeman, though i'm serving NS, but still is a policeman, failed to control the situation. There were many on-lookers who are like me, did not know anything on helping the poor guy, but just stand down there forming a crowd which impede on the rescuing process. Honestly i didn't even know what is that illness as well as the ways to perform necessary first-aid while waiting for AB to come. Imagine if i'm the only person who wass down there alone and there was this same fated guy with me, god knows how i'm supposed to help him. Sometimes, its better to be arm with the relevant knowledge so at least we can save a life in need. I do not know if its a recurring sickness for the guy, but anyway its still feels saddening. Life is really unpredictable and we really do not know if the next step we take will lead us to a hole/trap that is the end for us. Cherish all moments in life and we can secure all wonders gifted by heaven.

And as much as i want to slack my life away, there is nothing as FREE and EASY solution to living life. Perhaps if i am given a chance, i will see many many different things in life. Now i have to count on my lucky stars. Bless me with good friends, a kind-hearted & pretty girlfriend. a healthy and happy family, ample wealth and many more i will say. No, it should be bless everyone in the world with this good fortune. Like what they say, no-one can be happier without a happy environment to be in.

I`VE MARKED IT:D
