I had dinner with my police colleagues at Amara Hotel organised by NCPC (National Crime Prevention Council) in appreciation for the past year effort my division had poured in. I wasn't invited initially because NSFs are not included in the list. But i came in replacement for 1 of the regular who was on leave. And i have nothing much more to say about the dinner except the food really wasn't up to my expectations, being on extreme ends - either too sweet or too oily. And its the first time i wore formal attire (shirt, pants and leather shoes) and i put on colonge (OMG~!). And their expressions were 'wow' cuz being in C.I for 1 year, they had seen all my sloppiness in my dressing and my excuse is as always there's no one i have to impress while going to work.
So after dinner, we went to Dempsey Road (a hippier Holland Village as described by my boss). And i guess its true afterall that its has a similar concept as H V but this place is for people are exceptionally richer than others. Why? because its off a slip road between TanGlin Road and Holland Road (quite inaccessible) and the outlets there are more high-classed. So this is where i had my first ever 3 glasses of wine (2 Red and 1 White), white being smoother because there will not be a dry tingling feeling after you drink it. After a few hours, we headed to MOS where this is the 1st time i went clubbing -.- Haha i do not really know how to describe such virgin experience but i guess it can be pretty addictive. I guess you do not need me to write something about the girls there, but because i'm such not a flirt(ok im pretty shy boy), i did not approach any girls to dance with.
Ok go on and scold me why i have to break my vow that i would nt go clubbing or drinking. But i guess its part of growing up process. At least now i have a personal experience that i can share with fellow clubbers without actually not knowing what they are trying to discuss. But most imptly of course, i feel safer with mata bosses around. Yea so i can enjoy the crowd and atmosphere properly without worrying so much about angering surrounding people.
I had went for a check-up on my eye after 5 solid years of AFK @ Mount Elizabeth, eye clinic. You can probably get a hunch that i go for the examination because i want to improve my appearance and that this eye problem had always been a thorn in my flesh. Oh so the doctor said i need a operation soon and i think next year Jan will be a good year for me to go for the operation since i will need at least 1 month to recover.
I will be handsome again :)
But im feeling quite uncomfortable over the post syndromes of drinking. As occassionally i do feel a bit if itch on my left hand and my body is still experiencing exothermic heat reactions. LOL! Guess i need more practice!
