At this very moment while i'm typing this entry, the inch of guilt lingering in my heart still stands. the vivid picture of the handphone in the pouch still creeps in my mind.

Just what terrible deeds have i done? :(

Actually, i have done nothing. And the act of ignorance is the part where i have done wrong. This rainy morning, while i was on the bus <<985>> to work, a student had left his handphone on the vacated seat when he was alighting at the stop to Swiss Cottage Secondary School. As the crowd of students were dispersing through the exit door, my main focus was to get a seat since its going to be a lengthy journey to Toa PAyoh stop. When i first saw the handphone, i should have took it and gave it to the bus captain. But i didn't. And thats the part where i have sinned 'selfishly' because at the point of time, i immediately turned to the opposite seat that is also empty. And while i was contemplating on my next move after i'had seated comfortably, the handphone had disappeared from the seat unknowingly! I can confirm some idiot took it and kept it himself. I couldn't verify who had just walked past me so eventually this is a case of blatant theft right under my nose due to my inconsiderate-ness!

Hais, the book i have read previously told me if i have took the hp and gave it to the captain, it would be the 3rd-level of thinking and that is where people who can do just that will succeed. Apparently i was too bothered about my ownself and my opportunity cost that is to stand all the way to my destination if i took the extra steps to return the handphone to the driver and in turn, find that all the empty seats have been taken up by those kiasu aunties/uncles.

A bad start to my day indeed.

I`VE MARKED IT:D
