Today is 12th August. Happy Birthday to Vanessa Oh and Mu Xuan. And the 12th of each month is the best of each month. Because it is 'Pay Day!'. But i wasn't exactly happy about the pay slip. Which again brings me to lament something bad about NSPIs. They just do not know how to take care of NSFs honestly.
Anyway, August is pretty a busy month for me, maybe its due to the courses i have been so actively participating or because of the many many duties i have been involved in. NDP duties are finally over, i'm so glad about that. Next is the Sept's F1 duty and very very soon merry merry christmas is approaching. And then my all-time favourite holiday! Happy Chinese New Year!!! And ORD-O!!!
Btw i must quite admit i do not like photo-blog. But then while i was doing ndp duty at ritz carlton, i can't help but to take some fireworks display. Considering i was at 29th floor of the prestigeous hotel, its really 1st-class view (you do not have to elevate your head to see the fireworks - this happens to the audience at grandstand). All those bright sparkles/glitters are like money of different colours. Thrown into air - just for that few minutes of the performance. However if you compare it to the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, this is peanuts to many of you.
I finally get to upload the pics into blogger @ office since my house laptop kept giving me the same error message. Beautiful pics, ain't they? has to admit i wasn't a born-photographer.
So today was already 20th August, and happy birthday to daniel.
Radio has taken over MSK duty from us, i should be glad its over, but somehow i was abit unwilling because there will be no more off days for me to go swimming and do other stuff which i want to, since all my leaves this year had been consumed. Was accumulating all EDO for next year so i can be free in Feb onwards to look for new job. Has been thinking thru quite sometime, is contemplating same old office-work type of jobs and maybe relief teaching at some schools. Hopefully i have good lobangs when the time comes. But if not, its back to Recruit Express for me. Its the same old feeling when i visit the many branches 2 years back and everything has to start from scratch again. Fill up some stupid forms and undergo interview and last but not the least - to wait for that damn phonecall to reach me to tell me a firm is interested in me and thats not going to happen, i reckon. Since all firms will prefer GIRLS to guys -.-"
