Yesterday went to Queensway shopping centre alone to buy a pair of superstars. i mean Adidas shoes.. not a pair of hot models... have always been a fan of Adidas superstar.. been wearing it since the start of secondary school.. so you can imagine how many pairs have i changed throughout these years... hmm, 3 pairs to be exact. so yesterday's purchase was my 4th pair. was quite impressed with myself that i can actually wear my 3rd pair for almost 4 years... i rem i bought my 3rd pair in J1.. before one of the science practical remedial... was quite unwilling to change it initially because this was the pair that let me pass my driving test on my 1st try... but then the soles and front of the shoes have cracked, and you know during rainy weathers, water will seep into my shoes.. so i told myself its time to have a change.

Sidetrack from the main topic a while, i just threw my Nike air force shoes away. Was feeling quite guilty about it.. because i think i did not wear it for very long.. it was left rotting in the shoes' cupboard for quite sometime, till the entire patch of white had turned yellow, with cobwebs dangling in the foothold. at that time when i first bought the pair, it was considered limited edition. and you know i often like to wear superstar and Nike shoes interchangeably whenever i went out. but then it start to creep into me that i wasn't really a fan of Nike. perhaps i don't really like the massive exterior it presents to people. and because my feet isn't that big, so on a matching basis with jeans, Adidas will be a better solution. i still have a pair of Nike shoes though, quite new, bought at the start of this year.. more presentable i felt.. and i also bought a pair of new balance running shoes during October because i am a occasional runner.. so now i have 3 shoes to wear... was pondering for a fourth.. which is moccasin/loafers... saw a pair of it at queensway, was quite attracted to it, Clarks brand.. $189.. the shopkeeper told me at most discount till $160.. so i told her i will come back again. can see she was relatively annoyed because i asked her so many questions.. like how to wear and how to match.. but i'm glad i learnt something about fashion sense, having moved into the big 2...

ok back to main topic, i bought my pair of Superstar for $85. i considered it to be a good buy although the generation i bought was like years ago.. so no wonder there was a 40% discount tagged to it.. wanted to try something refreshing. so i bought a pair of USA superstar. and yes the colour is dark blue, red and white, because its USA. there is lesser patch of white now and i believe the shoes will not be dirtied that fast... the main reason why i blog about this was because not that i want to inform everyone i changed my shoes, rather i want to advise people the correct measure to take while buying shoes. I bought mine at this shop called "Sports and more.." its at the 1st floor. At the beginning, i asked a malay shop assistant if there was a new pair of the shoes, he told me that was the last pair.. i was quite reluctant to buy it because one, the size is 1 smaller and two, the half of the shoes had been on shelves since "duno-how-long". so i asked another china co-worker for assistance. The problem was that the chinese took so long just to find my shoes,(i was getting impatient) but he managed to get me a new pair. Irony isn't it.. That makes me even more despise malays... lazy and unprofessional in their work attitude. ok so guys remember to always counter check with different shop assistants because some of them will deploy such despicable antics on you just to convince you to buy.

Ok, anyone has suggestions in buying affordable and comfortable pair of mocassin/loafers? Do let me know ok...
